What is Solidus?
Solidus is a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet for iPhone, Android and the web. It replaces Nova Wallet. Non-custodial means your recovery phrases and private keys are created and kept on your own device. We never hold them, so your coins stay under your control.
Solidus is provided by Usque Ltd.
Getting started
- Sign in. Use your email and password, Google, Sign in with Apple (in the iPhone and Android apps) or Confrmo.
- Add or create wallets. Create a new wallet or add one you already have using its recovery phrase.
- Keep several wallets in one account. You can hold more than one wallet in the same Solidus account.
When you create a wallet, write down its recovery phrase and keep it somewhere safe and offline.
You can use Solidus in the iPhone and Android apps or in the web wallet at vsolidus.co.uk/wallet.
Coming from Nova Wallet
Your Nova Wallet recovery phrase works in Solidus. Sign in to Solidus, choose to add a wallet and enter your phrase.
If you use the classic web wallet at wallet.novawallet.co.uk (formerly Nova Web Wallet), please move to Solidus. The classic web wallet is being retired. It handles your recovery phrase on our server, while Solidus keeps it only on your device.
Common questions
I have lost my recovery phrase. Can you recover it?
No. Your recovery phrase is kept only on your device and we never have a copy. If you lose both your phrase and your device, nobody can recover the wallet. If you still have the device and can open the wallet, write the phrase down now.
Why is my send still pending?
A send shows as pending until the blockchain network confirms it. How long this takes depends on the network, how busy it is and the fee paid. Once a transaction has been sent it cannot be cancelled or reversed, by you or by us.
What are network fees?
Every blockchain charges a fee to process a transaction. The fee goes to the network, not to us. It changes with how busy the network is. You need a balance of the network’s own coin to pay it.
What is a verified address?
A verified address is one you have proved belongs to a verified person, using the Confrmo app and a passport check done by Confrmo. It is optional. Anyone can look up whether an address is verified, but the lookup shows only that it is verified and the dates. It never shows who you are. You can remove a verified address at any time in the app.
Can I use a light or dark look?
Yes. Solidus follows your device’s light or dark setting. To choose one yourself, open Account, then Appearance. The web wallet remembers your choice in your browser.
Which coins does Solidus hold?
VSolidus (VSOL), Veridium (VDM), Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), BNB, Dogecoin (DOGE), Tron (TRX) and Tether (USDT) on Ethereum, BNB Chain and Tron. VSolidus trades on LATOKEN.
How do I delete my account?
See our delete account page.
Stay safe: we will never ask for your recovery phrase
Nobody from Solidus, Nova Wallet or Usque Ltd will ever ask for your recovery phrase. Not by email, phone, message, social media or in person. Anyone who asks for it is trying to steal your coins. Only ever enter it in the Solidus apps or the web wallet at vsolidus.co.uk/wallet when you add a wallet. Never share it with anyone, even someone who says they are from support.
Contact us
Email support@novawallet.co.uk. Tell us which app or web wallet you use and what happened. Never include your recovery phrase.
