You can delete your Solidus account at any time. This page explains how and what happens when you do. Solidus is provided by Usque Ltd.
Before you start: write down your recovery phrases
When you delete your account, Solidus removes the recovery phrases it holds on the device you delete from. We never have a copy, so we cannot give them back to you. If you have not written down every recovery phrase, do that first. Without it you will not be able to reach your coins again.
Delete your account in the app
iPhone and Android
- Open Solidus.
- Tap your account at the top.
- Tap Delete account.
Web wallet
- Sign in at vsolidus.co.uk/wallet.
- Open Account.
- Choose Delete account.
What is deleted
Your account is removed from our server straight away, together with:
- your account details and sign-ins (email and password, Google, Apple or Confrmo)
- any verified addresses linked to your account
Solidus also removes the recovery phrases it holds on the device you delete from.
What is not deleted
- Your coins. Your coins are on the blockchain and are not touched. Anyone with the recovery phrase can still reach them.
- Blockchain records. Transactions on a public blockchain are permanent and cannot be deleted by anyone.
- Records held by sign-in providers. Google, Apple and Confrmo keep their own records under their own policies. To remove those, contact them directly. You can also remove Solidus from the apps connected to your Google or Apple account.
- Server access logs. These record the time, request method, path and IP address of requests and are deleted automatically after 14 days.
If you cannot sign in
Email support@novawallet.co.uk from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will delete it within 30 days.
Classic web wallet accounts
If you have an account on the classic web wallet at wallet.novawallet.co.uk (formerly Nova Web Wallet), email support@novawallet.co.uk from the email address on that account to have it deleted. Make sure you have written down your recovery phrase first.
